Unspoken words that never found their way,Tears frozen, I still had something to sayHidden behind the smile was a world,Of horror, like blood on the edge of a sword.
The broken pieces were still with a glimmer,With the hope you'll mend it sooner or laterThe smile you had taught came in handyFor the world would see me joyous and dandy.
But life never stops, pushes and pulls youIn a flash, I faced a world completely newNew thoughts, new choices, a new endeavorBut none forever, none so dear.
I forced myself on the ground of realityConvinced hopes were just a lack of clarityI let my mind flow where the wind blewWhat I was to lose, I never knew.
Taunted, distressed my heart was thrownThrough the fire of present, maze of the knownI realized I preferred the hope, the dreamThat some day you'll surely hear my scream
